What we collect
When you create an account on ElementAI, we collect:
- Email address — from Google sign-in or magic link
- Display name and avatar — from your Google profile (if you sign in with Google)
- Learning progress — which concepts and quizzes you've completed
- Molecules — AI architectures you build in the molecule builder
How we use it
Your data is used solely to provide the ElementAI learning experience: saving your progress across devices, displaying your profile, and enabling features like the molecule builder. We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal data.
Where we store it
Data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security — you can only access your own data. Passwords are never stored; we use Google OAuth and magic links for authentication.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to cache your learning progress for instant loading. Authentication session cookies are set by Supabase for secure sign-in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication and database
- Vercel — hosting and deployment
- Google — OAuth sign-in (only if you choose Google)
Your rights
You can:
- Access your data at any time through your profile
- Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
- Export your data upon request
